Natalie Alcala is a fashion editor based in Los Angeles. With a penchant for innovation, she strives to bring fresh talent to the forefront and has premiered a number of emerging designers in her published work. In addition to running Racked LA as the popular fashion and retail blog's senior editor, Natalie's work can also be found in a number of noteworthy outlets, including Vogue, Style.com, Elle and Bullett.
Writing has always been central to Natalie´s life, from producing short stories in grade school to studying creative writing at Cal State Northridge, during which her work was featured in an award-winning literary magazine. She thanks visionaries like Vivienne Westwood, Herb Ritts and David Bowie for inspiring her to contribute her words to the ever-evolving fashion world.
Inspired by her new role as a mother, in 2014 she founded Fashion Mamas LA: a members-only network for stylish LA mothers who work in the fashion industry.
